The TV psychologist said he was asked to weigh in on how Americans might react if the documents suggested humanity is "somewhere different in the food chain" of the universe. After reading the material, Dr. Phil said he came away convinced it points to a long-running government "cover-up" over UFOs, alleging that officials withheld the full truth even from the president. He warned that revealing such information could trigger widespread panic, spiritual crises or even fuel doomsday scams targeting vulnerable people. His explosive claims come as the Trump administration continues releasing batches of files on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), the government's preferred term for UFOs.
